Dear Doily...
Some of you might know me from BadCatDesigns. I blogged there for many years, and that blog saw me through two books and countless KALs. And I still post occasionally to share a new publication or design. But recently my heart belongs to doilies. This is not new, mind you. Many of my published designs are inspired by doilies.
But I felt like getting back to basics, if you will, with a focus on sharing hardcore lace knitting techniques. And a few group projects maybe?
My piano is covered with a carpet of doilies right now and if I do not begin to share some of these charts and techniques I might explode! So please feel free to "follow" this blog and come back over the next few weeks as I begin to share.

Thank you for the most beautifully done Ranunkel I've ever seen. Niebling designs don't always lay flat, but this one by you is gorgeous. Would love to know what thread and needle sizes you used.
